Seuss was born and raised in Topeka, KS in October of 1994. Growing up, He enjoyed fine arts, Band, and creating art & music in general. Seuss was brought up listening to all different types of music, but around the age of nine he got his hands on Eminem’s album “The Marshall Mathers LP” and he loved it! He would listen to it over & over everyday. Following his obsession with this body of work, he decided he wanted to start writing his own raps. He would then go on to writing songs and would record in local home studios whenever possible. His focus was set on mastering his craft, which would ultimately become his strong suite.
From age nine to approximately fourteen years old Seuss would continue to master his craft, but would remain unknown to the community as a musical entity. Around the age of 15 he recorded “Changes”, under the name Lil Seuss. He was also a member of a local Rap group known as YTF (Young Top Figgaz). The group would later split and Seuss became a solo artist. In 2013, Seuss started recording and mixing his own music. His first solo project would become an underground mixtape entitled “Cynical”.
